A MESSAGE FROM UNIVERSITY CHANCELLOR
Elam Christian University (ECU) is inter denomination Bible Centred Higher
Learning Institution which offer Education in Religious Field for equipping
Church Leaders and Minister for Effective Ministry. This university provides
Ministerial Education Based in Bible. (Bible based Education). Church
Ministers from all denominations within and outside of Tanzania are invited to
come to pursue studies at this University. Elam Christian University is
university without wall.
On behalf of the University community, I warmly welcome you to Elam Christian University (ECU)
and I am delighted that you are considering joining us for your studies in university. Elam Christian
University is a World class Bible University, well known for the highest standards of teaching and
learning. Our vision is to be recognized as a leading Bible institution in the world for demand driven
knowledge generation, application, preservation and dissemination for Church Ministry
Development.
The University has vast experience in training Bible, Ministry, Theology, Christian Education, church
planting and Christian Leadership. Through a wide range of programmes offered in our campuses and
Learning Centres.
Elam Christian University has various campuses and Leaning Centre within and outside the Country.
This University offers an expansive range of Programmes for both undergraduate and postgraduate
levels, at both degree and non-degree levels. The University is dedicated to providing high quality
training and knowledge that is responsive to your needs and that prepares a workforce that is creative
and ready to be absorbed into national and International Ministries.
As a University, we understand the value of co-curricular activities for student’s development. We
provide a whole range of activities on which we encourage students to participate. These include
sports, outreach and community engagement activities, volunteering, entrepreneurship activities,
Environmental activities and many more.
This prospectus will guide you to explore important academic and administrative matters. Importantly
it will guide you through the programmes, course structure and content, staffing, and details of
student’s welfare facilities as well as guide you through the application and admissions processes. We

Foundational to Elam Christian University ’s educational methods is to conviction that the Bible is
